Second Visit – 10/25/2009

We made another trip up to see the puppies this weekend and to take some more photos for Susan and Rod. We had a few idea for the photos and they were kind enough to let us bring some stuff up to spice up the shoot.

The puppies were outside in the backyard this time and it was full on puppy madness. Watching 6 puppies play is better than watching a Charger game on most Sundays lately.. wait that doesn’t say much about the puppies.

We haven’t decided on which one of these we are taking home yet, but the male (Jack) has already been picked so that helps narrow it down to 1 of 5..:)  How do you pick just one ?

I also managed to get some video of the puppies while we were shooting so be sure to check out the puppies in action.

I’m going to work on seeing if I can match names to the photos so all the puppy families can see/identify their puppy. **  updated with names, thanks Katie  **

First Visit – 10/17/2009

Well we finally visited the puppies for the first time today, they were about 5 weeks old and “soooooooo cute”  as Beth would say.  They were still pretty young so we didn’t really hold or play with them much but Beth managed to get a hug in here and there.

Here is the mom, her name is Bailey, a very strange coincidence because that was the name of our last Golden Retriever. Her and Charlie were best friends and took pleasure in destroying our house together with their rough play.   Now one of this Baileys puppy’s will be his new bud. He doesn’t know it yet but his life of snoozing during the day is all over.

This little girl was the most curious of the bunch when it came to my camera. She was trying to hide but watch me at the same time.. _MG_0550 _MG_0563 _MG_0580
