A few months ago I was asked by a good friend if I would photograph an event being held to help raise money for the Hopeful Hearts Foundation. The Michaelis family was holding their 2nd annual event “Noah’s festival of life” for their daughter Noah and wanted Hopeful Hearts to be the recipient of the money raised. The Michaelis and Chez families met a few years ago while their kids (Luke & Noah) were still in the hospital, each recovering from a heart surgery. The event had Carnival games and prizes, balloons, a magician, a reptile show, lots of food and drinks, and a card making table for all the kids to make “Get Well” cards to be delivered to children in the hospital.
It was such a pleasure shooting this event for such a great group of people. There were lots of fun photos from the day so I’m posting a bunch..
This is Noah and her special event. She is also the proud owner/operator of a pretty sweet Lemonade stand.
