Canada trip

 

These are from our trip to Canada this summer to attend our friends Dan and Amanda’s wedding. Ottawa is absolutely awesome, cept for the skeeter population.

 

One of the fun events of this trip was partying on the a boat cruise for a charity event Serge holds each year for his charity, the Serge Payer foundation.  

 

We headed to Montreal where I couldn’t sleep so I hit the streets while Holden, Alec, and Beth slept the night away.

 

Next we headed to Quebec City for a few days to check out the 400th Anniversary.  Amazing sights and fun.. 

 

 

 

This was a guy we found playing in some underground bar, literally it was in a cave underground. He was only singing in French, but he played some Goo Goo Dolls for us which actually sounded pretty cool acoustic and in French. They didn’t seem to have much for an electrical system and used candles as the main light for the  “stage”..  

I highly recommend getting drunk and listening to live music in a cave, in French..

The awesome electrical system, just had to capture this.  Guess they aren’t too worried about a fire since the place is in a cave.   

And the stage lighting, which pretty much kicks ass. I was tempted to try this at home, what do you think ?  

Some cool sculpture we found while walking in the rain.. those specs in the picture are the rain drops, which seemed to fall for an entire month while we were there.

This shot is for Amanda, who kept on asking what the heck I was taking pictures of out the back window of the car on our ride back from Quebec City !!.. Not bad for 80kmh or whatever your speeds are up there.
